I missed the first day of the challenge, but I hope I'll be able to stick to it for the rest of the month. I'm very excited about participating and connecting with the other educators who are blogging this month. Most of the time when I blog I'll be writing about my experience in my classroom, ideas to integrating tech into classrooms and the professional development sessions that I lead.
Any time I start something new, I like to set some sort of goal. After reflecting on the rest of the school year, I told myself that I would begin using video newsletters in my classroom that are created by students. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to make sure I get it done sometime this month. My plan is to choose 2-3 students at the beginning of the week and have them take notes about important events that they will want to include in their newsletter. During Wildcat Hour on Fridays, they will record their videos and publish them to YouTube. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the progress.
That's about all I have for today. I'm going to spend the rest of my time reading your blogs!
